My beloved dog and protector of 14 years is dying of lymphoma. I reached out to Dr. Karen Clark of this vet office (as she does house calls) for an earlier appointment and was treated horribly. I am beset by grief and her heartless response sent me into a panic attack. The day before I was called from the number she mentioned as her “professional line” and she gave me so much hope that Skipper might have a fighting chance for an extension on his life expectancy. That night he had some worrying symptoms so I texted a bit early that morning thinking it was a vet line and took emergency messages. Boy was that a mistake. Dr. Clark has made a lot of money off of my family as she has cared for at least four of our labs throughout their life, but she apparently couldn’t care less if my beloved companion didn’t get the care he deserves. She asked for vet records and I hadn’t gotten them within 24 hours which apparently is a cardinal sin — I was waiting on the vet to gather his. Not only did she refer me to the clinic that did the cytology who referred me somewhere (I contacted her because I grew to trust her as a family vet over the years) but she canceled a potentially life-saving/extending appointment that had already been booked for absolutely no reason at all. It was rude, compassionless, and completely unwarranted. This person should not be working with animals and she clearly cares not one iota over a beautiful beagle who saved my life — suffering and dying. I do not recommend her as a “vet” or to ever care for animals.
